Weekly Blog Post......#15
After month and months of hard sought after campaigning, President
Obama will keep his position in the white house for another four years. In this
election the storms really affected both voters and the presidential candidates.
Pools did not close until late Tuesday night and many voters in states that got
hit by Sandy were out waiting upwards of 7 hours to vote. Regardless how long
it took them to cast their voice it was all worth it. Announced late November
6th president Barack Obama will be able to finish his journey, and complete the
mission. Many people are not happy with the decision but know that now that the
election is over its time for both parties to come together and support our president.
I personally think that more will be done in the upcoming four years than has
ever been done before. In Romney’s speech he states “It’s now time to reach
across the aisle and come together as a nation”. This meant a lot coming from
such a diehard Republican but it is true. President Obama has great ideas and
now that his timeline has been extended he can execute them. Supporters on both
sides think that Obama will make more decisions and improve the nation knowing
that he does not have to "party please" and will not face another
re-election. I think that if America is put to the test it will prevail. We
were the number one nation and its time to get back on top. It’s time to forget
our opinions on both candidates and re-invent the American dream. What are your
thoughts???????
